Tantalum CapacitorsTantalum capacitors are widely used in consumer electronics,telecommunications, automotive systems and aerospace. They are preferred over conventional dielectrics because of advantages such as low parasitic inductance, small size, high capacitance and reliability.T86E336M025ESAS tantalum capacitors are widely used in the abovementioned application fields due to their unique features. They use solid tantalum material for the dielectric, which enables them to have a much lower parasitic inductance compare to aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The advantage of using a solid dielectric is increased reliability, especially in high-frequency and high-temperature applications. The T86E336M025ESAS tantalum capacitors have a maximum voltage rating of 25V and a capacitance of 330μF. The capacitors are polarized, so they must be connected with the proper polarity. The capacitors also have a maximum temperature rating of 125°C and a maximum ripple current of 1.2A, which is sufficient for most applications. The capacitors are also resistant to vibration and have a low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) value.The working principle behind a tantalum capacitor is based on electrochemical capacitive-dielectric material. The physical structure of the capacitor consists of two layers of semi-conductive surfaces separated by a dielectric material. When a voltage is applied to the capacitor, it creates an electric field that causes the electrons from the negative surface to flow towards the positive surface and a positive charge on the negative plate. This creates a capacitance. The capacitance of the capacitor is determined by the value of the applied voltage and the thickness of the dielectric material. T86E336M025ESAS tantalum capacitors are able to offer high capacitance and low Parasitic inductance,which is ideal for high-frequency,high-temperature applications such as automotive, aerospace and consumer electronics.
