Tantalum Capacitors

Construction and Design
The T95R157M010ESAL capacitors are constructed from an anode (made of an aqueous solution of commercially pure Tantalum powder) and a cathode (made from a graphite impregnated, porous, aluminum-oxide material.) The anode and cathode are separated by an electrolyte, which is usually a mixture of ammonium and manganese. To ensure that the capacitor is reliable and operates over a broad electrical and environmental range, special design features such as flexible terminations, low ESR, low parasitic inductance, and wide temperature range are incorporated into T95R157M010ESAL capacitors.
Working Principle
T95R157M010ESAL capacitors work by storing electrical energy in the form of an electric field between two metal plates, i.e. the anode and the cathode. Once the capacitor is connected to a power source (such as a battery), current flows into the capacitor, charging the anode and the cathode, resulting in the generation of an electric field within the capacitor.
