TB100-12SP is a terminal block designed for interconnecting electrical power and control circuits in machine control, electrical installation projects, switchboards and office equipment. It consists of electrically insulated flexible barrier strips held in a compact housing. The internal barrier strips have two independent circuits, one for the control signal and one for the power circuit. The control plugs are designed to be easily operated by hand and are offered in two versions, the Up-Down version and the \'L\' type version, which can be installed vertically or horizontally.

Working Principle

The TB100-12SP terminal blocks employ two independent circuits which are electrically insulated by a barrier embedded in the base and flexibly actuated by a recessed button. Its inner chamber has two plug-in terminals: one for the control signal and one for the power circuit. The control plug comes with an internal release release lever which allows its opening and closing by flipping the lever down or up respectively.

Once the terminal has been wired –the flexible cables being inserted in the terminals and helixed- the lever is positioned to insure the lock and secure the circuit. The wires are secured by using the provided wrappers which also reduce the risk of accidental grounding.

The TB100-12SP terminal blocks are also highly reliable since they are designed with dust and waterproofing protection which enhances their safety and prevents dust entering the inner chamber.
