The TB6865AFG is a multi-channel driver IC integrated with two PWM boost and a current limited buck Regulator for high power LED lighting applications. It is suitable for driving 24ch as well as 1ch applications, with an ON/OFF enable, providing various protection functions.

The TB6865AFG targets high power LED lighting applications such as outdoor LED lighting, LED spotlights, LED strip lights, LED bulb lights and LED display, and is suitable for driving LED lighting with all types of power supplies, from LC,DC, AC/DC to PFC, with an ON/OFF enable.

Application Field

Working Principle

The working principle of TB6865AFGis as follows:

The TB6865AFG controls the LED lighting and brightness through an external PWM signal. PWM signal is generated by an MCU, then used to control N-channel MOSFETs via the internal PWM Drivers, thus the LEDs brightness can be accurately adjusted. The TB6865AFG controls the LEDs current limiter and the current over-limit protection functions through the internal current limit control.

The TB6865AFG also provides protection against overvoltage and under voltage, thus ensuring the reliability of the LED. In addition, the TB6865AFG can detect LED current with high accuracy and protect LED lighting module in case of current accumulation. It also provides temperature protection through its overtemperature detection, which can further prevent the LED lights from overheating.
