The TC620CVOA713 is a solid state thermostat ideal for temperature sensing in industrial, medical, and consumer applications.
The TC620CVOA713 is a hermetically sealed metal can thermostat configured to open on temperature rise. This means that when the sensed temperature rises above a certain calibrated threshold the internal contacts open. The resulting current flow is sensed by integrated circuits and provides a reliable temperature feedback.
This solid state thermostat is a rugged device designed to provide maintenance free operation. The operating range of the device is -50C to +290C. This range covers most temperature sensing requirements, allowing for a wide variety of application, from medical to industrial. The TC620CVOA713 is a thermally activated device that operates by way of a bimetal element. When the element senses a temperature increase, the metal expands, causing contact closure between two, normally open, metal contacts.
