Temperature sensing is a vital element of many industrial processes. Thermostats, temperature controllers, thermocouples and other temperature sensing devices sense and control the temperature of complex mechanical and electrical systems. The TC653AEVUA is a solid state temperature sensor and thermostat designed for diverse applications in numerous industries. It offers a wide range of temperature sensing and monitoring capabilities, including highly accurate temperature control.
The TC653AEVUA is an integrated temperature sensor and thermostat that features a fast-responding thermocouple, a wide temperature range, and an adjustable thermostat for regulating temperature. It is capable of controlling temperatures between -40°F and +200°F, and can detect temperature variations from 0.1°F to 1.0°F. When connected to a temperature controller, the TC653AEVUA can accurately maintain the temperature of a system and prevent any potentially hazardous over-heating situation. With its wide temperature range, the TC653AEVUA can also be employed in applications where precise temperature control is required, such as medical and laboratory testing instruments, food and beverage processing, packaging, and industrial process control.
The TC653AEVUA\'s thermostat is adjustable from 0 to 200°F with a reset dial, allowing the user to set the temperature and make any necessary adjustments on a regular basis. Additionally, the TC653AEVUA comes equipped with two isolated binary outputs which can be used to control actuators, fans, and other cooling systems. The unit is supplied with a 24 VAC power supply and a 3-wire cable for connection to a temperature controller.
At the heart of the TC653AEVUA is a thermocouple, which consists of two dissimilar metals that are sealed within a ceramic sleeve. When a temperature gradient is applied across the two metals, an electrical potential is created and this is used to measure the temperature. The thermocouple relays the temperature measurements to the temperature controller via a 3-wire cable. In addition to thermocouples, the TC653AEVUA also includes a set of two electrically isolated binary outputs which can be used to control external actuators and cooling systems.
The TC653AEVUA is UL and CSA listed and is designed for rugged industrial and commercial environments. Its enclosure is constructed from powder coated steel and is corrosion resistant. It features a wide working temperature range, high accuracy, and long service life, making it an ideal solution for temperature sensing and control in a variety of industries.
