In addition, the board also provides a set of performance-related options, allowing users to adjust parameters such as minimum/maximum peak-to-peak voltage, gain, settling time, and output slew rate. An OTA is an amplifier that operates usin gthedifferencebetween two input signals, with the OTA acting as a voltage follower, accepting input signals and adjusting its output to match the input. The OTA is configured to take a difference between two input signals, the input and the reference, then adjust its output accordingly in order to maintain the output at the specified voltage level. This process is known as transconductance feedback, and the OTA is designed to maintain the output voltage even in the presence of large input signal swings.In order to ensure the best performance of the OTA, an appropriate compensation network must be used in order to reduce the overshoot and ringing of the output signal.
