The THS4501CDR is a high-speed monolithic rail-to-rail input/output voltage feedback amplifier with a guaranteed bandwidth of 1.6GHz. Its unique combination of features makes it highly suited for various applications in instrumentation, optical communication, high-speed data acquisition, signal detection and signal conditioning.

The THS4501CDR can be used to create precision linear amplifiers, general purpose and low noise signal conditioning circuits, and buffering isolation amplifiers. It is suitable for signal conditioning and signal measurement applications in board test, medical and telecoms applications.

The THS4501CDR is designed to provide optimized gain accuracy, distortion and power-supply noise rejection for a wide range of signal processing applications. Workimg Principle

The THS4501CDR amplifier is designed to amplify and buffer signals in instrumentation and communication applications. It utilizes an input stage optimized for unity gain bandwidth, followed by a closed loop gain stage and an output buffer. This design provides an amplifier with very low noise and distortion, as well as very high-common-mode and power supply rejection.

The amplifier can be used for both single-ended or differential signals. It provides a high-speed performance with a guaranteed -3dB bandwidth of 1.6GHz and a high-gain bandwidth (GBW) of 4.1GHz. The THS4501CDR amplifier is powered from a single +5V to +15V supply and can output signals up to ±5V.

The THS4501CDR amplifier is also designed with a high-impedance input and low-impedance output to ensure a good signal-to-noise ratio and reduce cable capacitance effects due to its high-impedance inputs. The amplifier also features a very low input bias current that does not degrade the performance of the amplifier, even for long cable runs.

The THS4501CDR is designed to provide an optimized gain accuracy of 0.02% over temperature and excellent total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.02%. Its high-speed performance and excellent common-mode rejection makes it ideal for a range of precision linear amplifier, instrumentation, buffering and signal conditioning applications.
