IntroductionTHS8134BCPHP is a high-performance data acquisition and control linear integrated circuit (IC) designed to provide both input and output capabilities in a single chip. It is part of Texas Instruments’ (TI) TILine® family of products designed specifically for data acquisition systems. The device contains two differential analog input ports, four digital input ports, four digital output ports, two analog output ports, and two universal synchronous/asynchronous ports. It contains 8 configurable digital I/O ports, 2 differential analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and 2 general-purpose universal synchronous/asynchronous ports. The device can be used for a variety of applications, including analog-to-digital conversion, digital-to-analog conversion, temperature monitoring, pressure monitoring, and data acquisition from sensors.The THS8134BCPHP can be controlled and configured through its serial ports. The serial communication protocol used is either I2C or UART.
