TL072IDRE4 is a low-power high-bandwidth dual-channel JFET input operational amplifier (op-amp) designed for use in professional and audio applications. It features very low offset voltage, low input bias currents, high gain bandwidth product (GBWP), low input capacitance, low distortion and very low supply current. TL072IDRE4 is used in many audio and instrumentation applications. It is ideal for very low voltage power supplies and low power audio applications, such as portable audio, instrumentation and audio mixing. It can also be used in audio signal routing and mixing. In addition, TL072IDRE4 is a great choice for active filters, voltage controlled oscillators, sample and hold circuits, automatic gain control circuits, modulators and demodulators, voltage to current converters, audio pre-amplifiers, headphone amplifiers and tracking systems.Working Principle
TL072IDRE4 is a dual-channel JFET input operational amplifier. The JFET input stage provides very low input capacitance and low input bias current. The JFET inputs are internally connected to voltage references, resulting in very low offset voltage.This amplifier runs on single-supply, low-voltage operation with a supply voltage range of 1.35 V to 7 V. It can provide a wide range of gains without the need of external components and the output can swing down to zero volts.Additionally, TL072IDRE4 features three gain stages connected via an intermediate buffer amp stage. This provides a higher gain bandwidth and increased stability. The multiple stages also reduce distortion and noise.TL072IDRE4 also has short-circuit protection built in, allowing it to be used in applications with high output currents. The amplifier is operational up to a temperature of 85°C.Conclusion
