PMIC (power management integrated circuit), as its name suggests, is used to manage the power supply of a product by providing a variety of voltage regulator solutions. Voltage regulators, with the ultimate goal of stabilizing output voltage, provide the most basic and effective power management solution. DC-DC switching regulators are one of the most commonly used regulators on the market, and TL2575-12IKTTR is one of the most popular DC-DC switching regulators in the market.

TL2575-12IKTTR, with TI’s LO (low output ripple) control system, provides extremely smooth mixed control, which ensures its output voltage functions without drop or overshoot. This voltage regulator is also provided with a number of protection mechanisms including overcurrent limit, output overvoltage limit and power-limiting protection.

To find out more about the working principle of TL2575-12IKTTR, it is pertinent to look at the block diagram. The regulator consists of an integrated control, which uses a compensation and an error amplifier for control of output voltage and current.
