TL2575-15IKTTRTL2575-15IKTTR is a parts of PMIC (Power Management IC) family—DC DC Switching Regulators. It comes with a tiny-sized SOT-23-6 package, which has built-in switches and control circuits. With a wide input voltage range and a fixed frequency up to 1.5Mhz, it serves as a step-down regulator and ideal for portable equipment. This device can support up to 1A of output current, making it perfect to power medium to low power circuits.Application FieldThe TL2575-15IKTTR is highly suited to low power, compact applications due to its tiny size, high efficiency and low operating temperature. Working PrincipleAs a switching regulator, the TL2575-15IKTTR works by regulating voltage and current using two stages. In the first stage, an internal switching regulator utilizes PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to switch on the power supply at a fixed frequency. In the second stage, a conventional LC filter is used to clean up the output voltage to a desired regulated voltage. To ensure efficient operation, a loop compensation circuit processes the output voltage at the output stage and compares it to the output voltage set by the user. The regulation loop ensures that the TL2575-15IKTTR at all times meets the desired output voltage. The TL2575-15IKTTR also features an internal soft start circuit which gradually increases the output voltage from 0V to the target voltage.
