The controller also integrates a number of additional features such as thermal protection, over-voltage protection, and the ability to run in either quasi-resonant mode or burst-mode operation.The TL3845BP is a highly integrated device that incorporates both a synchronous buck pre-regulator,a PWM-based synchronous buck post-regulator, and a post-detection feedback circuit. By integrating all of these elements in one device, the overall power supply design can be significantly simplified, reducing the amount of board space, component count, and overall system cost.The TL3845BP has a wide input voltage range from 3.2 to 28V and offers an adjustable output voltage of 0.8 to 5.0V.
