TLC1078IDR Application field and Working Principle
The TLC1078IDR is a low-power, single-supply, rail-to-rail operational amplifier. It is a predictable precision current feedback amplifier in the instrumentation, OP Amp, buffer amps field. The TLC1078IDR provides low power consumption, wide bandwidth and low distortion over a wide supply range.
TLC1078IDR benefits from a wide supply range of 2.3V to 16V. The input voltage range extends from ground to the positive rail supply and the output voltage range is from ground to the negative rail supply. For electrolytic and ceramic capacitors, the equivalent input noise voltage is 2.2nV per root hertz and the equivalent input bias current is 2pA.
The maximum open-loop gain is 1.1kHz and the maximum input offset voltage is less than 250mV. The device also has very high slew rate which is 22V/us and a wide dynamic operating range of 13.2dB.
The TLC1078IDR has several advantages. It ensures high gain accuracy with very low distortion and good linearity. The input noise voltage and input bias current are low due to the internal unity gain bandwidth of greater than 80MHz. The TLC1078IDR also provides wide common mode and power supply rejection with a PSRR of more than 80dB.
