TLC271IP

The TLC271IP is an analog pulse-width modulation integrated circuit that can be used in a wide variety of applications including motor control, power supplies, modems, light dimming and audio. The component\'s flexibility and low power consumption make it well-suited for many applications.

Working Principle

The TLC271IP has a rail-to-rail differential input range and is able to drive outputs of up to 10 mA. The device was designed to be used in low-voltage and low-power, linear amplifier and RS-232 data transceiver applications. The device utilizes the current-feedback architecture which enables the signal to be amplified without the use of any external components.

The output voltage swing is determined by the resistor connected to the output pin of the package. The gain of the circuit is defined by the ratio of the resistance at the output pin to the resistor connected to the feedback pin. This gain can be compensated by an optional external capacitor, if needed.

An optional low-power mode is available, allowing the device to switch between low and normal operating power depending on the source current. The device can also be easily configured to function as a transimpedance amplifier, to measure temperature or drive a voltage-output variable gain circuit.

The TLC271IP can be used in motor control, power supplies, modems, light dimming and audio applications.
