Tantalum Capacitors

Working principle
A tantalum capacitor is a type of electrolytic capacitor. It is composed of two electrodes which form a dielectric material -- the electrolyte. When the electric current is passed through the capacitor, the dielectric material will allow current to pass through and it will be stored. This is the basic principle behind how a capacitor works.
The TLJT226M016R1000 is composed of a tantalum core and an anode. The core is made of a thin sheet of high quality tantalum foil coated with a layer of conductive oxide.
