TLV2702IDGK is a special purpose linear amplifier designed for use in communication, instrumentation, medical, and other applications. It provides true differential inputs and outputs and exhibits low noise, low distortion, linearity, low power consumption and high input impedance that make it ideal for use in audio and signal processing applications.The TLV2702IDGK operates in a 3-stage amplifier arrangement with a unity-gain differential voltage amplifier, a high-side compensated output buffer, and a low-side compensated output buffer. On the differential inputs, the voltage amplifier provides gain control and impedance buffering. On the output side, the low side buffer provides low impedance buffering, and the high-side buffer provides gain control and protection from overvoltage and short circuits. The voltage amplifier operates at the power-supply voltage set by the power supply pin VCC and supplies a load current of up to about 600 mA. The amplifier has low noise, low distortion and high linearity characteristics resulting from the 0.5 dB gain accuracy, high input impedance and linear operation at up to 450 kHz. In addition, the amplifier has a maximum output voltage of up to ±6V and an output impedance of <100 ohms. The TLV2702IDGK is available in two different amplifier packages; the HER-36 and the HER-37. The HER-36 package is a quad flatpack (QFP) that offers a total board space of 3.3 square inches, while the HER-37 offers a higher board space-to-part ratio of 6.1 square inches. Both packages are 6mm x 6mm in size, with the HER-36 being slightly smaller than the HER-37. The HER-36 offers an optimal solution when space is an issue, while the HER-37 is suited for applications requiring a greater number of external components. The TLV2702IDGK is also available in an on-chip temperature-compensated bias reference, which ensures optimal temperature stability for the amplifier. This temperature compensation allows the amplifier to maintain its linearity and gain accuracy over the entire temperature range.The TLV2702IDGK is designed to be used in applications such as audio amplification, preamplifiers, signal processing, line amplifiers, active filters, automatic gain control, power control and instrumentation. It is also used in medical applications such as EEG measurement and medical imaging systems, as well as in automotive and communications systems.
