Overview
TLV3691IDCKR is a single op-amp Comparator. It has two inputs, one output and one enable pin. It comes in three forms – SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit), SOP (Small Outline Package) and MSOP (Miniature Small Outline Package). This Comparator uses three different types of op-amps – an open-loop op-amp, an overall gain op-amp and an internal feedback op-amp.

Working Principle
TLV3691IDCKR works according to the principle of comparators. A comparator is a circuit used for comparing two analog voltages. One of the inputs is the reference voltage and the other is the input voltage. When the input voltage is higher than the reference voltage, the output of the comparator goes high and when the input voltage is lower than the reference voltage, the output goes low. TLV3691IDCKR has one input and one output and the output is the comparison result between the two signals.
TLV3691IDCKR has an open-loop op-amp with a low offset voltage which is used for amplifying the signal. The internal feedback provides the required gain and stability of the comparator. The input signals are regulated by the Vcc voltage. The TLV3691IDCKR has an enable pin which is used to control the output. When the enable pin is low, the output is OFF and when the enable pin is high, the input signals are sampled and compared and an output is produced.
