Working Principle

The TLV70215DBVT is a low-noise regulator that works with a linear control architecture. The converter includes a P-channel MOSFET (PMOS) pass transistor, and a replenishment transistor that operates as a controlled current source. It also includes an error amplifier and reference voltage to set the output voltage.

The TLV70215DBVT uses an internal reference voltage to set the standard output voltage of the regulator. The external voltage applied to the Adjust pin is multiplied by a factor to match the output voltage. The Error Amplifier (EA) compares the output voltage to the reference voltage and produces an error voltage (Verr).
