Overview of TPS2113PWG4

TPS2113PWG4 family of device are very versatile and suitable for applications that require an input voltage of 3.0V up to 36V and high output current source up to 2A. It has been created with an optimized architecture and very efficient with a minimun quiescent current of 100µA, it can be used in always-on and always-in-use applications. It also has two general-purpose wide range ADC inputs, a load switch enable and PWM with an integrated watchdog timer.

The TPS2113PWG4 draws from a wide input voltage range, to provide a low noise output voltage protection and monitoring, as well as efficient step-down voltage conversion. The integrated OR Controller, Ideal Diodes, and Current Monitors allow for safe, efficient power management. Depending on the application,it can be optimized for use as regulators, ideal diode rectifiers, buck-boost converters, or multiple buck converters.

Due to its optimized architecture, the TPS2113PWG4 can offer a very high output current supplying up to 2A and limiting over current, over temperature, and maximum discharge. The two general-purpose wide range ADC inputs allows for load switching and/or PWM input, as well as monitoring of voltage, current and temperature level’s.
