TPS51225EVM-133 belongs to Evaluation Boards – DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. It is a switch mode power supply (SMPS) evaluation module for Texas Instruments\' TPS51225EVM-133 step-down controller. TPS51225EVM-133 supports the wide 9.2 to 25V input voltage range while the output voltage is adjustable from 0.83 to 5.0V. The energy stored in the inductor is then delivered to the output. When the diode is on, the switch element will be off and the energy stored in the inductor will be diverted to the output. When the diode is off, the switch element will be on and the inductor will be charged by the input.
