TPS53128EVM-620 is an evaluation board designed to evaluate the features and performance of the TPS53128. It is a complete, low-profile, 1-MW/2-A synchronous buck converter with an input voltage ranging from 6-V to 28-V. The wide input voltage range, adjustable output voltage and low quiescent current make it ideal for applications such as point-of-load power regulation, distributed power regulation, battery-powered systems, and other applications that require efficient voltage regulation.
The TPS53128EVM-620 is capable of delivering up to 2-A of output current at an adjustable 8 up to 20-V output voltage. The board incorporates a high-efficiency synchronous buck converter, an adjustable current limit protection circuit, and a shut down control feature. In addition, the board provides a differential Remote sense feature and a programmable Soft-Start feature, which allows the user to fine-tune the board to their specific application.
The TPS53128EVM-620 is designed for easy operation. It is fully assembled and tested, and includes a detailed User’s Manual. The user can easily adjust the board’s parameters, such as the output voltage, the current limit, and the soft-start delay by adjusting the board’s jumpers. The board also includes a Hammond-type case for the board to be quickly mounted into the user’s system.
