It is a low-dropout (LDO) switching regulator that can convert a 5V input voltage to a regulated output voltage of up to 3.3V and is capable of supplying output currents up to 5A.
The TPS54226RGTT is a rugged, buck topology converter with low EMI, low output ripple, fast transient response and good thermal performance. Its synchronous rectification reduces power consumption and minimizes output voltage ripple. It features a PWM (pulse width modulation) on-time control and an adjustable soft-start.
