TPS54340EVM-182

The TPS54340EVM-182 is a complete evaluation module (EVM) which helps designers evaluate a wide range of AC/DC offline switching mode power supply (SMPS) applications. It enables designers to evaluate the performance and features of the TPS54340 switching controller when used with any FET.

The TPS54EVM-182 application field includes but not limited to offline charging circuits for Li-ion battery, power adapter for AC/DC offline converters, AC/DC high efficiency offline lighting, high efficiency AC/DC offline UPS systems, high efficiency off-line LED AC/DC drivers/dimers, and many more. It can be used in applications from 3 Watts to 350 Watts.

The TPS54340EVM-182 converts AC input voltage, typically 85VAC to 264VAC into a fixed output voltage between 2.5V to 48V (depending on the chosen configuration). The operating range of the input voltage and the output voltage can be customized by changing the components of the TPS54EVM-182.

The design of TPS54340EVM-182 incorporates a number of advanced features such as line undervoltage and overvoltage protection, over temperature protection, active rectification, frequency jittering, valley-fill operation, zero-power startup, and more. Additionally, the EVM has diagnostic LED\'s to help indicate the status of the main power rail and the secondary power rail.
