The TPS54672EVM-222 is an efficient, monolithic, step-down switching power supply evaluation board which allows for the evaluation of all the features and capabilities of the TPS54672 regulator controller. The device supports output voltages of 0.6V up to 22V, and can support up to 3A of continuous load current. The TPS54672EVM-222 is an all-in-one evaluation module consisting of a complete bill of materials used in a 16mm×16mm ×5.5mm form factor. It offers a number of features that are useful in a variety of applications where high efficiency, low noise operation are essential. This evaluation module can be used to evaluate the various features and capabilities of the TPS54672 regulator controller. The board has internal circuitry that implements an enable polarity circuit, as well as protection circuitry to protect the device from input voltage transients, as well as output overcurrent and thermal protection. Additionally, the TPS54672EVM also offers user the capability of selecting the output voltage through an on-board voltage selection circuit. The TPS54672EVM-222 includes a wide range of features such as over voltage protection, under voltage protection, thermal protection, fast transient response, and low voltage operation, as well as the capability to operate in both continuous and skip modes.
