The TPS775xx family of voltage regulators represent the newest generation of super-low noise, high power LDO (Low DropOut) regulators using CMOS production that yields excellent line and load regulation. The TPS77525PWPRG4 is a 500mA LDO voltage regulator. It offers 500mA output current with excellent line transient response and low noise characteristics. The TPS775xx family consists of 10 devices offering output voltages from 0.6V to 3.3V.
Application Field
The TPS77525PWPRG4 is suitable for a wide range of general-purpose power management applications such as industrial, consumer, and computing. It is ideal for post-regulator applications, battery applications, secondary side regulation, and for design which requires less output current. It also takes a wide input voltage range from 2.5V to 16V, thus making it suitable for most applications.
The TPS77525PWPRG4 offers a enable pin that can be used to enable and disable the device through an external signal. Working Principle
