The TPS77618PWPRG4 is a low power, high efficiency, ultra‐small, step down DC‐DC converter from Texas Instruments. This device is a member of the TPS776xx Super‐Efficient family of DC/DC converters that provide up to 95% efficiency at light loads, and up to 93% efficiency over a wide range of operating conditions. Using its 1.2A operating current, the TPS77618PWPRG4 can provide output voltages from 0.8V to 5.5V from an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V. This converter is available in a 2mm x 2mm WCSP package makes it well suited for compact designs and space‐constrained applications. The TPS77618PWPRG4 is designed to operate as a voltage regulator, providing regulated output voltage even when the input voltage varies. It works by dissipating excess input energy as heat through an internal switch operating in pulse width modulation mode.
