TPS79328EVM is a voltage regulator evaluation board designed to evaluate the performance of Texas Instruments TPS79328 3-A low-dropout regulators. This evaluation board helps customers to quickly and easily develop various applications that utilize the devices. TPS79328EVM can be used for evaluation of ultra-low ESR output capacitors for both ceramic and aluminum electrolytic capacitors.The TPS79328EVM facilitates evaluation of the TPS79328 devices through the use of Jumper connections, which are provided on the board. This allows the user to select between different output voltages and different operating modes such as enable/disable, 4.5V or 5V reference, thermal shutdown and other features. Furthermore the board contains an LED indicator so that the user may observe the correct operation of the regulator.The TPS79328EVM has a footprint compatible with the recommended application circuit of the TPS79328 devices. It also contains a power connection and a test point, which allows the user to monitor the output voltage.
