The TPS826716SIPT is a high-performance DC-to-DC step-down converter based on DC-to-DC conversion technology. It is designed to provide a constant current output (up to 5A) to integrated circuits operating with high-power requirements. This converter is suitable for applications such as DC motor drivers, motor controllers, motion systems, battery operation, and power management.

The TPS826716SIPT adopts a full-bridge PWM topology. The converter is controlled by a primary-side control buck controller (primary) and a secondary-side differential amplifier (secondary). Based on the voltage feedback of the secondary, the primary-side controller adjusts the total output voltage by adjusting the duty cycle of the full-bridge PWM. The efficiency of this converter is about 95%.
