The TPS84320EVM-692 is an evaluation kit designed to provide a platform for the design and evaluation of the power-supply options available in the TI family of SMPS controllers. It consists of an easy-to-use evaluation board and power-supply modules suitable to evaluate TPS84320 7A/32V dc-dc controller. It can also supports designs requiring the use of a separator capacitor or fly back topology with transformer T1 on the design of isolated dc-dc converter up to 15 watts. The EVM-692 operates from a 106-264Vac input and provides a regulated 8V/3A or 5V/6A output.The TPS84320EVM-692 belongs to the DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS category of evaluation boards. DC/DC converters are devices that convert a source or input voltage to a different source or output voltage.
