TS271ID Application Field and Working Principle

Analog Devices TS271ID is a dual low-noise, high-precision instrumentation amplifier that is optimized for use in a broad range of linear application, such as level sensing, weighing, and low noise gain control. A unique feature of the TS271ID is its fully integrated and unified architectures, which enable it to be used in a wide range of applications, even in the most demanding environments.

The TS271ID is designed to provide superior performance, reliability and flexibility in a wide variety of analog applications. Its dual-channel design allows it to be used as a differential amplifier, or as a single-channel amplifier, depending on the application requirements. Its impressive signal-to-noise ratio of 122dB, power supply rejection ratio of 82dB, and gain-bandwidth product of 350MHz are ideal for high-performance applications.

The TS271ID utilizes a very well-understood linear topology which employs multiple stages of signal conditioning and amplification. This topology is used to provide an adjustable gain structure, improve signal-to-noise ratio, reduce crosstalk, and reduce signal drift. This topology also provides excellent gain linearity and high input impedance, both of which are very important in high-performance applications. The TS271ID is configured in a gain range from 1 to 1000V/V, with a maximum output voltage swing of ±15V.
