The TS274AIPT from Texas Instruments is a single supply, low power dual monolithic op-amp featuring integrated thermal shutdown protection. Working Principle of the TS274AIPT

The TS274AIPT is basically a dual Op-Amp which can work with a single power supply. Its internal voltage amplifier is based on a complementary pair of devices (an n-channel and p-channel MOSFET pair) which is connected to the supply rails. This ensures that a regulated voltage across the device is provided and the output voltage can never rise above the supply voltage or sink below ground. The amount of current that can be drawn through the Op-Amp is limited by the resistor connected between the output terminal and the device’s internal voltage amplifier.The device also features a voltage feedback loop which actively adjusts the output voltage according to the input signal. This loop is composed of two resistors which connect the output to the positive and negative supplies. When the input voltage changes, the voltage at the output terminal also changes. This change in the output voltage is then fed back to the input side of the Op-Amp to keep the output voltage constant for a given input voltage.
