1. Describe
The TS34119CS RLG is a low power audio amplifier with an integrated circuit (mainly used in telephony applications such as speakerphone). It provides differential speaker outputs to maximize output swing at low supply voltages (2.0V minimum). There is no need to couple capacitors to the speakers. The open loop gain is 80dB and the closed loop gain is set by two external resistors. A chip disable pin allows turning off and/or muting the input signal.

The internal configuration consists of two identical op amps. The open-loop gain of amplifier #1 is ≥80Db (f≤100Hz), and the closed-loop gain is set by external resistors Rf and Rj. The amplifier is unity-gain stable with a unity-gain frequency of approximately 1.5MHz. For adequate coverage of the telephone voice band (300Hz to 3.4kHz), a maximum closed-loop gain of 46dB is recommended. Amplifier #2 is internally set to a gain of –1.0 (0dB). The outputs of both amplifiers are capable of 200mA peak current. At maximum current, the output can typically swing to within ≈ 0.4V above ground and ≈ 1.3V below VCC. For VOH and VOL curves. The output DC offset voltage (VO1-VO2) is primarily a function of the feedback resistance (Rf), followed by the amplifier's input offset voltage. For a given IC, the input offset voltages of the two amplifiers are usually similar and thus nearly cancel each other out at the output. However, amplifier #1's bias current flows from input Vin (pin 4) and through Rf, forcing VO1 to move negative by an amount equal to (Rf × IIB) and Vo2 to move the same amount. The output offset voltage specified in the Electrical Characteristics is relative to the feedback resistor shown in the Feedback Typical Application Circuit, so consider the offset current and the amplifier's internal offset voltage. Bias current is constant with respect to VCC.

The maximum power that can be safely dissipated in the TS34119 can be calculated by the following formula: PD= (140°C - Ta) / Өja。 where Ta is the ambient temperature; Өja is the power dissipation within the package thermal resistance TS34119, which can be calculated by the following formula in a given application: PD= (VCC × ICC) + (IRMS × VCC) - (RL × IRMS2); IRMS is the RMS current on the load; RL is the load resistance.
