Data Acquisition - Analog to Digital Converters (ADC)
The TSA7887ARMZ-REEL is a 12-bit, four channel low-power, high-accuracy, low-noise Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) that offers a maximum sampling rate of 200 kHz. It features a configurable internal voltage reference, both single- and differential-ended input configurations, and versatile input ranges. The ADC also supports a configurable serial interface for communication between the host and IC.

Working Principle
The TSA7887ARMZ-REEL ADC is based on an analog comparator principle where an input voltage is compared to a reference voltage to produce a digital output representing the relative level of the two signals. The comparator is then turned off and an integration cycle begins, during which the reference and input voltages are compared again, producing an output code that is proportional to the difference between the two signals.
