Working Principle of TSF46H100DF Float Sensor

A flexible diaphragm within the stem then deforms and this changes the capacitance of the dielectric material inside the stem. This changes the capacitance of the stem which is then converted into a voltage and sent to an input of an Arduino microcontroller. The internal circuitry then processes the voltage and the Arduino microcontroller reads and interprets the value.
