Application Field

TSV912IYDT is a rail-to-rail input CMOS instrumentation amplifier that is widely applicable to instrumentation, sensor, and transducer amplifiers, where precision, power consumption, and power supply operation are the major considerations. It can be used to measure the current and voltage signals that the super-low-power sensor systems detect and amplify, reducing noise and providing improved stability and accuracy. It can also be used in automatic control systems to detect current and voltage changes and to provide highly accurate signal amplitudes. In a microcomputer system, it can also be used to monitor current and voltage changes and monitor system operations.

Working Principle

Unlike traditional instrument amplifiers, TSV912IYDT is a rail-to-rail input device. The input stage is composed of an operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) and a high-performance CMOS op-amp. The OTA will transform the input current into a voltage signal and then feed it into the op-amp. The amplified output of the op-amp will be converted back to a current signal and sent to the output stage of the amplifier.
