The two semiconductor junctions of a Zener diode form a diode which directs the majority carriers to flow towards the P-region when bias is applied in the reverse direction. The TSZU52C10 RGG is a single Zener diode that consists of two N-type and two P-type contacts with a Zener voltage of 52 volts.
