It also includes high-speed USB peripheral applications such as external storage devices, media converters, and display adapters.The board consists of two main components: the TUSB322A-Q1, a USB Type-C™/Power Delivery Multiplexer, and an integrated USB Type-C™ Cable Port. The TUSB322A-Q1 is a low-power, low-voltage device designed for applications within laptops, phones, tablets, and other mobile devices. It features two power switch channels and two data switch channels, providing support for up to three USB Type-C™ plugs, two with Powerswitch provided.The integrated USB Type-C™ Cable Port connects two five-meter cables configured as either an upstream or downstream side. A USB Type-C™ Receptacle Connector is included, as are three 3-pin voltage and current monitoring headers. The Voltage Monitoring Headers provide voltage, current, and power measurements of the downstream (host) side of the TUSB322A-Q1 device. The board features two short-circuit protection circuits to provide reverse current protection. Additionally, the routing of the traces is designed to minimize cross-talk between signals.The TUSB322EVM enables users to evaluate the performance of the TUSB322-Q1 device in various configurations. Using the GUI, users can easily demonstrate independent switch operations for power and data lines, and observe the effect of setting and resetting the switches.
