It is a single-port USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) and USB Type-C (UFP) and Resistor-wired Battery Charging Dedicated Channel (CC1) repeater. It allows USB Type-C cables to extend beyond their connectivity limits and improve performance.
