TV30C700JB-G is a type of unidirectional TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) diode with high peak pulse power capability and excellent clamping performance. The device is generally employed in multiple applications including power supply transient overvoltage protection, computer peripheral I/O protection, automotive and industrial control circuit protection, and other line interface circuit protection. It exhibits a rugged surface-mount construction making it a preferred device in most transient over-voltage protection applications.

The primary purpose of TV30C700JB-G is to protect sensitive equipment from over-voltage transients or other electrical or magnetic man-made or atmospheric disturbances.
