Working Principle

UA78M09CKTPR adopts the typical LDO circuit and principle. It consists of a resistor divider network and an error amplifier. The regulator will compare the divider output voltage with the reference voltage, and adjust the voltage to generate a reference current. This current is then applied to the pass element, resulting in a voltage divider, and the output voltage is regulated.

UA78M09CKTPR employs a N-channel enhanced mode MOSFET pass element, providing high power supply rejection ratio, low noise, and excellent transient response. The low on-state resistance of the pass element also helps minimize the dropout voltage.
