Interface
UAF42AU is an integrated amplifier with a 4-channel filter stage, two line inputs, two adjustable line outputs and two adjustable low-resistance audio outputs. It can be used to create a multi-channel audio filter by combining the filter, output and input stages. The filter stage contains four filter types, ranging from high-pass (HP) to low-pass (LP). HP filters roll off the low frequencies and attenuate the higher frequencies, while LP filters roll off the higher frequencies and attenuate the lower frequencies.
Filters
UAF42AU offers four types of filters: high pass, low pass, band pass and notch. The high pass is a frequency-dependent filter, meaning that it rolls off frequencies below the cut off frequency, while the low pass rolls off the frequencies above the cut off frequency. The band pass is a frequency-dependent filter which provides a wide range of frequencies between the upper and lower cut off frequencies. Notch filters, on the other hand, are frequency-dependent filters that attenuate the target frequency, while passing the remaining frequencies. Each filter type is adjustable through a set of parameters, such as cut off frequency, gain and resonance.
Active
UAF42AU also features an active filter technology, enabling the user to adjust the filter parameters in real time. This technology can be used to tailor the output signal to the desired specifications. For example, it can be used to make the signal smoother or more aggressive. Additionally, the active filter can be used to eliminate noise or distortion in the signal. The active filter technology also provides a greater range of frequencies than fixed filters. This makes it easier to achieve the desired sound without having to use multiple filters.
Working Principle
The working principle of UAF42AU is based on the use of the filter stages to form a signal chain. The signal is input through the input stage, and then passes through the filter stages, where the desired frequencies are filtered out. This is then followed by the output stage, where the filtered signal is sent to the output. Each filter stage can be adjusted in order to optimize the output signal. This helps to create the desired sound or effect.
