UC2853N is a current-mode, pulse-width modulation (PFC) controller from Unisonic Technologies which helps to create an active power factor correction (APFC) circuit. This controller is designed to allow manual settings with an external zero current crossing detector, and it manages the input current and tries to keep it in-phase with the phase voltage. It adopts the predictable sensing technology which provide the input power factor close to unity.
