The UC2875DWP is a high performance current mode offline switching integrated power controller. It integrates a linear regulator, an err-setup PWM comparator and an under-voltage lockout circuit in a single chip. UC2875DWP ensures excellent constant voltage, constant current, and idle mode operation over wide input and output range. This device also offers dip switch programming, power-saving stand-by mode, external low voltage shutdown and headroom adjust options.

The UC2875DWP has a wide range of applications in different AC-DC and DC-DC converters. This device can be widely used in various offline switchers, including AC-DC adaptors, desk-top power supplies, personal computer power supplies and other applications.It has a wide operating range from 8V to 36V, and makes use of FETs for switching. It also features an adjustable current limiting, shutdown for both under voltage and over voltage, frequency jittering and over temperature.

The UC2875DWP is designed following a current mode PWM architecture which allows accurate current control and improved output power when compared to voltage mode converters.
