The UCC2541PWPRG4 is a high performance, fully integrated DC-DC switching controller, ideal for use in power management systems. It integrates high-speed control algorithms, analog and digital feedback control loops, and low-power switching stages to provide an efficient, low noise, and reliable power management solutions with features such as adjustable switching frequency, synchronizable frequency, power-saving mode, adjustable output voltage, and flexible protection features. The UCC2541PWPRG4 is ideal for applications such as automotive, consumer, computing, cellular, and industrial applications.

The UCC2541PWPRG4 is optimized for use with a wide range of switching frequencies and it is capable of efficiently controlling a 330V output voltage. It includes an adjustable ramp compensation feature for frequency synchronization, a soft-start/soft-stop feature which limits inrush/outrush current, and an adjustable reference voltage to ensure proper input voltage regulation. This provides high efficiency with low-ripple output, improved EMI and reduced power dissipation.

The output stage of the UCC2541PWPRG4 uses the power MOSFET switch to control the switching current, and includes an adjustable current limit capability for protection against excessive load current. It also includes a slew rate control feature which enables optimized switching performance for improved efficiency. Additionally, the on-chip dead-time generator allows programmable current overlap to help prevent shoot-through currents.
