UCC3888D is an Industry Standard High-Performance Current Mode Controller from Texas Instruments. It is a high-performance, low-EMI off-line switcher optimized to reduce the component count and minimize board space. The device is ideal for a wide range of AC-DC, DC-DC, and AC-AC, mobile device chargers, and low power supplies. It is ideal for a variety of isolated and non-isolated power converter applications such as telecom, industrial, and consumer power supplies.
The UCC3888D is designed to operate with a minimum of external components in a wide range of applications, from light-loads to heavy-loads. It has an internal power rail converter circuit that allows the device to deliver high-efficiency performance in applications where high-power factors are required.
