The UF-2002-T is a single-phase, full wave, off-line, epoxy encapsulated controlled rectifier with zero voltage soft start capabilities. It is mainly used in applications where a higher amount of regulation is required than is possible with a conventional power rectifier. This device offers an improved performance in terms of regulating the output voltage, while still providing the necessary current limiting protection.
This type of rectifier is widely used in motor drives, UPS systems, and in some low-voltage applications. The UF-2002-T rectifier contains a triggering circuit that creates a pulse-width-modulated (PWM) signal for the switching of the rectifier elements.
