The US1A-E3/61T is a form of rectifier diode, engineered to meet the demanding criteria of intense electronic applications. A single rectifier diode is so called because it consists of a single p-n junction and is mainly used to convert alternating currents (AC) to direct current (DC) via a rectifying action. This particular model of diode provides a high peak inverse voltage (PIV) of 600V, along with a non-repetitive peak forward current (IFSM) of 35A. In most respects, the US1A-E3/61T operates in the same way as a regular rectifier diode.
