USB4624-1080HN-TR is a USB 3.1 Type C Gen 2 multiplexer with direct attach copper cable support, ideal for applications including PCs and Ultrabooks, as well as networking and storage devices. This device provides high-speed connectivity between type-C ports and data/DisplayPort sinks, allowing for multiple video streams or data transfers at up to 10 Gbps. It is an ideal solution for applications where simultaneous transfer of high-speed data and video is required.The USB4624-1080HN-TR is a four-way, multi-level switch with four differential input receivers and four differential output drivers. It supports data rates of up to 10 Gbps, and is compliant with both USB 3.1 Type-C connector specifications and the Multi-Media Interface (MMI) version 2.0. The four on-board receivers are designed to meet the signal integrity requirements of USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and USB 3.1, as well as the higher accuracy and jitter requirements of the new MMI 2.0 protocol.The four output drivers use differential signaling and can be configured to support either USB 2.0, USB 3.0, or USB 3.1, as well as the Multi-Media Interface (MMI) version 2.0. These outputs provide up to 10 Gbps of data transfer rate. The drivers can also be configured to support DisplayPort 1.2 compliant output. The drivers support DisplayPort audio, hot plug detection and link training.The USB4624-1080HN-TR provides a variety of advanced features to ensure reliable operation, including interference rejection, signal integrity, continuously variable input level sensing, and adjustable output level control. The device also features programmable signal detection and pulse width modulation (PWM) control signal support.The USB4624-1080HN-TR is designed to reduce complexity, minimize signal degradation, and streamline the integration process. The device features advanced power management features, including hot plug and sleep modes, which minimize power consumption during operation and when the device is idle.
