TVSs (Transient Voltage Suppressors) are specialized types of electronics used to protect circuits from overvoltage. Varistors, MOVs (Metal Oxide Varistors) and V07P140Ps (Voltage Protection Devices) are all types of TVSs, designed to prevent any damage from excessive voltage surges.
